Lei Huang is a consultant in the Gowlings International Inc. Beijing representative office.
Lei has expertise in the areas of business law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and public market financings. In addition, he is an active member of Gowlings' China Group and acts as a liaison for Gowlings clients in China.
Educated in law in both China and Canada, Lei is able to assist Gowlings' Chinese clients with their needs in Canada as well as Canadian clients in China. He has been involved in many of Gowlings' major China-related merger and acquisition transactions in the past several years. He has assisted several Chinese clients to raise capital in the Canadian public market, and has assisted the fundraising of two international funds and their ventures in China.
Before joining Gowlings, Lei worked at one of the largest law firms in China. He was involved in several major foreign investment deals in China and has experience in dealing with various regulatory issues.
