Les Duncan is counsel in Gowlings’ Calgary office, practising in the area of commercial litigation. Les has extensive commercial litigation experience as counsel to major industrial and oil and gas companies and has acted in international arbitrations as counsel and as an arbitrator. He currently acts in a wide range of commercial disputes and significant shareholder litigation.

Les practiced with major Calgary-based firms from 1962-1995, focusing on the oil and gas industry, the coal industry and airline transportation. In 1995 he founded his own firm carrying on a substantial commercial litigation practice until December 2006. Les joined Gowlings as counsel in January 2007.
