Lindsay High is a law clerk in Gowlings' Ottawa office working in the advocacy department.

Lindsay specializes in insurance defence, working with both property and casualty carriers as well as specialized insureds, including local municipalities and police services.

She has extensive knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and the Rules of the Small Claims Court. This, combined with a decade of experience as a law clerk, has provided her with the required knowledge to prepare detailed assessments on damages and liability, and draft all documentation related to a civil action, including pleadings, affidavits of documents, mediation briefs, pre-trial memoranda, and motion materials. In 2011, Lindsay attended the Insight Civil Litigation Practice Conference as a speaker on enforcement, speaking specifically to enforcement against individuals.
