Michael Bean is a partner with the Gowlings Waterloo Region office. He is a member of the Technology and Intellectual Property Law Groups, where he practises in the areas of trade mark, copyright, domain name and licensing law.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mike was senior legal counsel with a multinational consumer packaged goods company, responsible for trade mark, advertising, licensing and competition legal matters.

Mike assists clients in searching, selecting, registering, licensing and enforcing their trade marks in Canada and the United States. He also advises clients on the protection of trade marks internationally and manages their international trademark portfolios.
