Michael Clancy is a partner in Gowlings' Ottawa office practising in the area of business law. With one of the largest business law practices in the City of Ottawa, having clients ranging from local private entrepreneurs to international public companies, Michael has extensive experience in a variety of corporate commercial matters, including franchising, mergers, acquisitions, commercial leasing and secured financing.

Michael provides pro bono legal services to a number of non-profit organizations and charities.

Michael formerly held the position as Head of the Ottawa Business Law Department.
