Neil McCormick is an associate in Gowlings' Ottawa office, practising in the Business Law Group.
Neil's practice focuses on corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on not-for-profit corporations and technology law matters. He has experience drafting a variety of agreements and commercial documents, including by-laws, service agreements, outsourcing agreements, software agreements, and requests for proposals.
Neil spent 2011 seconded to the legal department of a national telecommunications company where, in addition to commercial law matters, he gained exposure to regulatory issues and was involved with proceedings before the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission and the Copyright Board of Canada.
In addition, Neil is interested in energy law and has written a number of articles on that topic. Published Works
