OUR PEOPLE

As the Director of Student and Associate Programs, Patti MacDonald is responsible for the management of students and associates in Gowlings’ Toronto office. In this role, she oversees the recruitment, orientation, integration, mentoring, and evaluation programs. She also directs the office’s liaison activities with law schools, law students, and law student organizations.

After completing her articles with Gowlings’ Toronto office, Patti joined the Financial Services department as an associate in September 1999. Her practice focused on secured transactions, restructuring and the realization and enforcement of security. In March 2002, Patti left practice to assume the role of Director of Student Programs. In September 2006, her role was expanded to include management of the associate program.
