OUR PEOPLE

Philip Nykyforuk is a partner in Gowlings’ Calgary office and leader of the Firm's Insurance and Professional Liability National Practice Group. He practises in the areas of insurance, health, personal injury, professional liability and products liability law.

Prior to joining Gowlings, Phil was admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania and practised from 1990 to 1993 with an international law firm in the areas of commercial litigation and products liability litigation. Phil has appeared in trials and appeals at all levels of courts in Alberta, and remains on active, non-practising status in Pennsylvania.
