Pierre Lissoir practises in the field of business law with a special emphasis on securities law, take over bids, public financings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. He joined Lafleur Brown, Gowlings’ predecessor firm, in 1989.

His practice in securities law has provided him with the opportunity to actively participate in various corporate and governmental public issues and he has acted for various investment dealer firms in respect to public and private offerings of securities in Canada. He has also been active with various special committees in the context of take over bids and related parties transactions. He also deals with competition law and Investment Canada issues in relation to acquisitions.

Additionally, Mr. Pierre Lissoir has advised numerous clients in acquisitions or sales of businesses.
