Tiffany Hu is an articling student in Gowlings’ Ottawa office.
Tiffany graduated from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. During her legal studies, Tiffany participated in an exchange program with the George Washington University in Washington, DC and a summer law program with the American University Washington College of Law in London, Paris, Geneva and Brussels. Prior to law school, she completed a bachelor of arts degree (honours) and a master's degree in accounting at the University of Waterloo.
Tiffany previously summered in the legal services branch of the Ministries of Finance and Revenue. She also interned at the Public Prosecution Service of Canada and worked as a legal personnel clerk at another leading national law firm. Prior to entering law, Tiffany worked as a senior accountant at one of the largest accounting firms where she audited the financial statements and evaluated the internal controls of companies in industries such as manufacturing, retail, distribution and mining. Additionally, she previously worked as a teaching assistant for courses in business and technology law, assurance, and corporate governance and as a marker of practice exams taken by chartered accountant candidates.
