Tim Ryan is a partner in Gowlings' Calgary office. He practises almost exclusively in the area of professional liability defence including a significant component involving medical malpractice cases. Tim also has extensive experience defending engineers and accountants.

While at Cambridge, Tim concentrated his studies in public and private international law, including studies at the Lauterpacht Research Centre for International Law. In conjunction with his studies at Cambridge, Tim received an award from the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust and British Chevening program.
