OUR PEOPLE

In addition to being a health law trial lawyer, Wayne has considerable experience and expertise in personal injury matters, both plaintiff and defence, as well as, insurance law, mortgage enforcement and commercial and real estate litigation. Wayne joined Gowlings in 1981 and has been a partner for over 20 years.

Wayne has acted as both General Counsel and Provincial Counsel for the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) with more than 24 years trial experience before all levels of Courts and tribunals.

For many years Wayne taught Health Law at the University of Ottawa in the Masters of Health Administration Program and Economics at Carleton University. He has also frequently spoken to professional organizations on topics in his practice areas.
