On February 9, 2012, VoiceTrust announced the acquisition of Montreal-based voice technology firm Perceive Solutions Inc.
VoiceTrust is a global provider of digital payment and voice biometric solutions. The company is backed by a successful Dutch private equity firm. Perceive Solutions’ unique technology portfolio represents an innovation in voice biometrics that can identify and authenticate speakers in any language with free form speech.
Gowlings advised VoiceTrust in this acquisition with a team led by Mireille Fontaine, and that included Marc-André Godard (tax) and Giovanna Spataro and Lee Johnson (intellectual property). |
