On January 25, 2012, Crescent Point Energy Corp. (TSX: CPG) closed an acquisition of producing light oil assets in southwest Manitoba for cash consideration of $130 million. These assets produce approximately 940 boe/d of high-quality, long-life light oil production and are complementary to Crescent Point’s existing properties in Manitoba.
