In conjunction with National Biotechnology Week, Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP congratulates those who participated in the 2009 ESSAY CONTEST. The contest is now closed. Watch here for details on the 2010 competition launching in September 2009.
Essay Contest participants write and submit a 1500 word essay on a Canada's top story of the year. 2009 essays will be judged by a panel of experts from Gowlings, BIOTECanada and BioTalent Canada.
The winner receives:
- First year tuition to a Canadian post-secondary institution up to a maximum of $5000 if they are entering a life sciences related field.
- Free registration to a BioTalent course: Making Sense of Biotechnology
- Their essay published in the fall issue of BIOTECanada's Insights Magazine.
- Recognition during National Biotechnology Week as the contest winner.
