Canada Signs Trade and Investment Agreements with Jordan

On June 28, 2009, the Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, signed four new agreements between Canada and Jordan:

• a Free Trade Agreement (FTA)
• a Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA)
• an Agreement on Labour Cooperation
• an Agreement on Environmental Cooperation
